Saw a engine V6 is it a older Hemi??

Saw a engine in a old Orchard sprayer yesterday. It was a V-6 and the spark plugs were going thru the intake area not by the exsaust manifold. I could not find any name (glasses not on) on it. Never seen one like this before. Any ideas? It was a yellow engine and looked industrial. Thought maybe it was a Hemi but then I have only seen the 426 Hemi befor being raised around Chevy to much. I would date this to around 50-60s era. Mark H.
