My son Brian and I had a great time at the Rally. It was about 900 miles one way, but we met many very nice and knowledgable folks, and learned a lot!
People in the Great Plains are so friendly, and that applies to the folks at VPW too. Bubba and Troy (of VPW) were especially helpful to us with part searches.
I encourage you guys on the east and west coasts that may think it is too far--- to "just do it" and go out there next year!
Finally, I will enjoy Paul and Tammy's maple syrup that I got out there too.
