Durability of powder coated VS painted engines ?

I've seen Hotrods with powdercoated engines using great colors,how durable against heat is this vs the limited colors offered with conventional engine paits ? I want to paint mine yellow to give it that diesel/industrial look and help make leaks more detectable.
