Jonas is a kindred spirit, a little faster to jump into a fight, (primarily because of age and passion) but it doesn't matter since he is a made up person who's real name is BogusPoster, but then, since you appreciate the deeper side of an argument, you more than likely already knew that.
Actually I've discovered, while reading your posts, that you may suffer from political identify confusion also. You see at one time in the not to distant past it didn't matter what party or lable you gave to yourself because we were all Americans who simply disagreed on how to best advance our nation, for the greater good. The main reason I became disillusioned with the left is that they no longer believe in that, the cause has become more important than the end results. Many, but not all, of the left would rather see their country fail than see it be improved by the right. They have all of their eggs in one big 'America is Evil' basket. They are not any more open minded or tolerant of dissent than another group of ideologs. All of their efforts are geared to hold power, not make the country better. People get richer, bad news for the democrats, unemployment goes down, bad news for the democrats, we win the war in Afganistan, bad news for the democrats, we win the war in Iraq, bad news for the democrats. We cut taxes, bad news for the democrats, the economy starts to improve, bad news for the democrats. Notice a trend here? For the left to do well, America needs to fail. That is why I left that party and that way of thinking, my country is more important than winning an election.
We do need to talk on the 'ol Dodge tailgate, I think e-mail is better than taking up more bandwidth here.
