I have an M882 and seem to have an electrical problem with it. wipers run slow, lights not as bright as they could be etc.. I've done a check on the alternator even changed it out, changed voltage regulator and electronic ignition box.
My question is, shouldn't I be able to disconnect the battery from the system while the truck is running and the engine continue to run? It doesn't...
What could be causing my system to have lower amperage/voltage in it and cause the engine to die when disconnecting the battery?
