Was a fire close to your place or did they cut one in or just getting ready to in case? A D-8 did mine after I flaged him down headed to another place. I told him if it is not cut I will lose my place. He told me he will have to get permision to do it first? I told him the fire is almost to the top of the hill behind me if you don't do it now there won't be nothing left! 9 homes burnt around me and 4 were gone allready when I was trying to get them to cut it?? I take care of keep it clear now after they cut it in, not going thru that again! Mark H.
