Yes because during the last fire the poles burned that fed my place and my well quit.I have a 10KW Gas Generator back up. The water system for the fire hoses is gas opperated also hard to get 125 gal a min out of my well to opperate the Sprinklers on the roof. The 6,000 gals plus what my well at 25 gals a min going back in can drench the place in 30 mins like a monsoon rain storm. A fire will only last about 30 mins to go around me then it is just hot spots if I can keep the buildings wet. The sprinklers are for if I have to run like last time. I just turn them on and go to the safe zone till the fire ball is done over my place. Mark H.
