D-Day + 59 Years

I parked the WC-52 in front of the house to remind folks that it is the 59th anniversary of that historic day. The yellow ribbons are for my son, Major Steven Cook, serving with the US Army in Iraq.

Many military convoys use this highway while traveling to or from Fort Hood, Texas, 15 miles east. I also remember them and the growing number of Fort Hood soldiers who have lost their lives in Iraq.
