It's wierd what will kill a tire. I once got a railroad spike stuck full length in a tire on my deuce and drove about 50 miles on it until I noticed what I thought was a beer-bottle cap embedded in it. Pulled it out and the tire was fine. Another time I drove over a little dead tree laying across the road and a little twig about 1/4" dia impaled itself right throught he tire and popped it.
