What is there above DOT 4 except DOT 5?

There was a big discussion on 3 vs 5 in MV mag a while back. The gist of it seemed to be the 5 is better because it doesn't absorb moisture thus keeping the bake system dry and rust-free, whereas 3 is better because it absorbs moisture, thus distributing the inevitable moisture throughout the brake system rather than letting it collect in low spots where it quickly rusts out the brake lines. Some say never ever mix 3 with 5, whereas other say to add a little 3 in with the 5 in order to swell old seals and keep them tight. I expect if the truth was obvious we would discuss it so much.
