The military can holders are really piss poor can holders, they place too much stress on the mounting points and only hold the can from the bottom, the can eventually falls out or wears a hole. They do look cool driving on pavement, but that's about it. You are much better off using an old Cepek style can holder, 4 Wheel Warehouse has them, nation wide. You mount them inside the bed and they hold the can tight and locked.
