I was at Big Sur on Sunday. I usually work most weekends. Took my GETAWAY Van out for the Holiday weekend. Actually My wife & sons took it out and I showed up for the day. Did you guys get the one-eyed waiter at Il Fornaio ? I frequent La Scalas on Burlingame Ave for choice Italian cooking, but enjoy both! Try the restaurant on top of Dragers Grocery Store downtown San Mateo for a white tablecloth ritzy dinner. It's called: Viognier
