If it's the rear main seal, it won't be from loose bolts. In order to change the rear main seal, the only proper fix will require either the engine out or the transmission out & then work from bellow. It would require removing the pan disconnecting the connecting rods & undoing the main bearing caps & lowering the crankshaft to get enough room to install the new seal at the rear.
It's not a hard job, but it's a time consuming one that you best get a mechanic with experience(& preferably a hoist) to help you.
I believe in learning how to repair your own truck but I think you might want help with this. If I was closer I would gladly help you.
