I think you'll find that anyone here would love to own your truck & be proud to drive it, however it's not someone off this forum that's likely to buy it. The majority of the forum readers are the do-it yourselfers & buy, restore & repair their own trucks. The general population buying $20,000 trucks expect to buy one just like the Wix model that they bought, or like the original sales literature that they've seen.
I've never said I dislike Flat Fenders with v-8's, disc brakes, modern seats or shortened frames for that matter, just that you'll be hard pressed to get the same money for an altered as one that's bone stock.
Even a factory flatbed will sell for much less than a truck with a factory 8' bed.
That's just the way it is...not my opinion.
