Very tedious process. Several springs were broken as was the spring steel edge rod that goes around the seat perimiter. I started by getting a doner seat from a local salvage yard. Most of the springs of the day seem to have been made by the same maufacturer. The spring stell cannot be welded so they must be replaced or repaired. I grafted parts of springs from each seat together to get the correct spring hieght. If you want all the details, a phone conversation is in order. Otherwise, you'll have to waite for an upcoming issue of the PWA where I will explain in detail.
