Notice to those interested in the 3-point hitch system as once marketed by the Monroe Auto Equipment Company for use on the rear of the Dodge Power-Wagon:

After 12 years of planning and research on the Monroe Hydraulic Lift Kit, and nearly 1000 hours of reverse-engineering, modeling, and detail, I now have a complete set of professional engineering drawings for a possible reproduction rear 3-point hitch system for the Dodge Power-Wagon.

These drawings are printed in a B-size format and consist of 112 pages showing 351 separate views of the system components and detail a total of 246 parts and 59 assemblies. Machining operations and tolerances are called out as well as weldments, assemblies, hardware, and purchased parts. Each drawing contains a complete Bill Of Materials. All are fully dimensioned with notes and weld symbols where appropriate. All available purchased parts were reverse-engineered to glean the necessary information, and are shown with reference dimensions to help in the identification and search for available original Monroe parts and also to aid in the modification of other, more commonly available tractor parts, when originals can not be found. The working geometry of the system falls within “Category I” dimensions, specified by ASAE Standards approved March 1959 and revised 1961, which set forth requirements for the attachment of 3-point hitch implements or equipment to the rear of agricultural wheeled tractors by means of a three-point free-link hitch in association with a power lift.

I may be as many as 24 months away from having a reproduction lift completed for my own Power-Wagon. At this time, I can not say if I would have the time or the interest in reproducing these lift systems for sale in the future. However, if there is enough interest, I may consider selling drawing packages to those considering making a reproduction lift to display on their own truck.

For anyone interested in receiving a couple of sample A-size drawings and some initial thoughts on pricing, please send a self-address stamped envelope to:
