This seems to have turned into what I have done to my truck. I was asking what would you do to your trucks? Would you warentee them, rebuild all parts, go thru the complete truck, what price range, type of paint job ect. I know I am suposily asking to much for my truck but I know what I have done to mine and and would put it up against any stock truck of it year to compair how they run, oil drips, quiteness of the drive train, steering straite down the road with out hands on the wheel along with going straite braking with out hands on the wheel, starting with a bump of the key, ect. I know my bed is not stock and so are a few other things. But are these things worth another 12,000.00 plus dollars like I have seen other trucks go for? And would it cost me that much to return it to stock again? I don't think so. I could buy a pretty nice stock truck for that range and mine is not that far from being stock either. I do not have any bondo on the front of my truck or fenders and very little on the cab. I relise I did not make mine good enought for the purist restore type for the show ring but it is a good running truck. Are the ones you would build be of the show quality, completely restored like new type and is there a market for them to be sold for a profet? That is what I was asking and did not get that answer to that question and what would you ask for a truck like that? I have heard plenty on how I have done mine wrong and how it has been chopped ect. The next one would be 100% stock and take a lot longer to do becides costing much more to do. But I did not cut any corners on what realy counts the drive train the part that gets you around. That part is also stock and original to the truck. I was not knocking what you were tring to do just asking what and how you would do them. Mark H.
