I think I would think about that one a little if you are tring to make a profet. It seems you would make more off a non restored one you did nothing to then one you fix up right and try to sell. First of all someone who can do it there self will do there own and a person who has not done one will see a un restored one for 3-4000.00 and say heck that is to much money for one I can do it cheaper. Doing a off frame complete rebuild takes a lot of hours to do and lots of money if you do not cut corners. Just a good paint job on a original one is not a rebuild. So if you do it right it will take bucks and to make a profet you will need to sell it for more than you got into it. I have a lot of both into mine but would not do another one just to sell it. Where do you draw the line? Just make it run or do everything over? Your tastes verses others that is a problem too. How many nice trucks do you see for sale? I have only seen a couple in 6 months most need something or a lot done to finish them. When you do see a nice one it is around 20,000.00 plus and you can still have problems with it. Tell us what you would do to one and what type of price you would ask and get some feed back on it. That might tell you if you want to build one just to sell. Want to buy mine? Mark H.
