I think I would pick the second series as "some" of parts seem a little more interchangeable between all 3 being in the middle with the second series truck.
All this said I am keeping my second series truck I am restoring and selling the first series truck I am also restoring at the same time. Go figure, I know the total history of the 52FFPW versus I know nothing about the 47WDX and have not become attached to it "yet" haha.
I like the first series trucks the best though and would rather have one of them out of the 3.
