OT Faded Fiberglass

Anybody know how to restore the color back into fiberglass once it's faded? I just bought a E-350 camper van with a silver & black fiberglass roof. The black portion is sun-faded and I'd like to get the color and shine back without painting over it. The silver part appears O.K. Any thoughts on whether this is possible using a solvent or compound or something? Thanks!
