Mopar car troubles

My son's '95 Avenger sits in the driveway and I've run out of ideas. It turns over but will not run. I placed a loose spark plug in a spark plug wire and it gets fire. I shot starting fluid into the intake and it runs for 3 sec. I've replaced the fuel pump and checked both the relays on the firewall. They test good. This total electronic nightmare is one of the reasons I love the primitive Power Wagons. Any suggestions?
