Was out driving around and stopped at another guys house to go for a drive in his. Since I have only drove and been on the road in mine I wanted to hear another one. Door seals, good gears make a difference. Mine is a lot quiteter on the road. His runs good but is loose in the drive train and makes more noise and the doors rattle. He just put new bearings in the trans too. Must be his tranfer case making noise. We figured the pulling of the hills is about the same. I did find out our steep hill is a 10% Grade so that is why it is such a hard one to go up in 4th gear. Getting the points from .018 to .020 and a couple of degs on the timing makes a difference too. Now it goes a little faster on the hills and runs a few degres cooler. Getting the engine fine tuned so it runs the best, all part of owning your first one. Mark H.
