O.K. I am not the brightest bulb on Christmas tree, so please indulge another question on ffpw headlights. I am in search of headlights for a 1957 PW. A pair was placed on eBay last night and I bid on them.
This morning the seller contacted me and informed me that the headlights are not off of a ffpw but a WWII military vehicle instead. He asked if I would retract my bid so he could alter his description on eBay. I did.
The picture on eBay shows only the front view, i.e., the lenses and the rims. So, the question is: Since both the seller and the potential buyer are generally uninformed about these headlights, how do the headlights differ between the MV and the PW. Any chance they would be the same?
Sorry for taking up bandwidth but there are no locally available trucks that I can learn the diffference.
