If you have no timing marks, no big problem. Pull the little plug out of the no 6 cylinder. Stick a bare brazing rod in the hole and turn the engine by hand. Easier done with all the plugs out. Bring no 6 up to TDC, and then make your mark! There should be something you can line up and mark on the crank pulley, or harmonic balancer.
But first get dirty and clean off the crank pulley/balancer and I'll bet you find some sort of timing marks.
