Doug,
I missed the comments that someone made about your photo. However, it is clear that whatever comments were made were made by someone that is a sophomore on how oversized loads are moved and hauled. It is not uncommon to see giant loads hauled and can be safely done if done properly.

I also agree with your assessment of the general driving public. Many of them shouldn't be allowed to operate a tricycle, let alone a motor vehicle. I have often felt that much more stringent qualifications should be passed and enforced for the average driver as well as professional drivers.

While I no longer drive professionally (after nearly 2 decades of safety awards), I try to maintain a deep respect for all other drivers, not only professionals. If more people would pay attention and plan for the unexpected there would be far fewer problems.

If people were trained to drive using Power Wagons, the world would be a better place (jmho).
