While I'm a big fan of Aluminum Foil hats and underwear (I work for Reynolds Consumer Products - the Reynolds Wrap folks!!), I'm wondering if what you experienced could be more physiological than you are thinking.
Strokes can have very rapid onset and cause pain/paralysis in specific areas of the body that can be either temporary or longer-term.
How is your health? Any problems with cholesterol - or stroke history in your family?
