Dave, I think you went full auto on your mouse.
The M3H4 is the truck, FFN-3 is what it becomes with the Crash truck body.
They did make some early in the war with the close cabs, I have never seen one, just read about them.
My 2 trucks almost had the same fate as yours. In both cases, the other parties wanting them, wanted to cut them up and make them into logging trucks. One fire department, heard about me and called my house. When I saw the FFN and said I wanted it, they had me leave acouple of dollars because a logger was coming over to buy it. This truck had served there little town for over 30 years, they did not want to see her die a slow death.
