what cliched it for me was finding out that the standard guage in the US and the UK was the same, 4 foot 8 1/2 inches.
There are a few private lines here I could 'borrow' and another chap I know is making a set of railway wheels for his jeep, following Buzz Mueller's recipe, but i don't think that wheel type would work for a full sized Dodge.
