You can use the parts out of the 72 to go in the 75, but you will have to use the transfer case out of the 72, or combine them and get a lower range, you will also have to swap out the axles if you want to have hubs on the front if hubs are not an issue then do not worry about it may have to change the cross member to hold the transmission or the transfer case but allmost all is a bolt in operation.
