If you want to pull the collom you need to remove the Pitman arm just outside the frame first. Then unbolt the steering box from the frame and collom from under the dash. If you want to remove the shaft then you unbolt the side plate off remove the Pitman arm shaft, pull the steering wheel, unbolt the the shaft from the housing and remove it. Still a lot of work to get that bushing on. Just pull your steering wheel and slide it on if you do not want to cut it. Mark H.
