Recently, you will recall, I made a snide comment about an alleged Bull Schist Artist whose rambling Ebay description of a Mack truck caused us all some entertainment.
A poster to this list took exception to my off-the-cuff assessment of the writer. I happen to have a nose for BS and a low tolerance for imposters.
The Ebay goober implied, rather than actually stated, that he was he is a retired Captain of the Coast Guard. He stated that he was a retired charter boat captain, then later he boasted of his service in the Coast Guard.
Here is the information from my source in the federal government regarding a certain "Captain Mike DeLong, USCG,(Ret)".
He is a retired Coast Guard "FSC". Precisely, he was a "Chief/Food Service Specialist". This is an enlisted rank, I am told, similar to a Sergeant in the Army.
