Mark ;would look into putting adhesive in the Headliner Kit you are making. Since the contents may be under pressure and inflammable they might have some regulations about shipping it. Somthing to look into. Sounds like a great kit, how about some self contained insulation(meaning not loose like house stuff) on the back of the headliner for noise dampining(sound insulation/absorbsion)?
