Optima is the one I use. I am on my second one. Over 800 CC Amps! It is a spiral-wind arrangement, with thin lead, so not good for deep cycle use. For starting, it is tops in my opinion. The twelve-volt Optima looks like a six pack, since each 2-v cell is a lead "plate" wound up with separator material and gel electrolyte. The six-volt version, which is what I have used, is a "three pack", half the size. My first one lasted 7 years, and the next is a few years old now. They seem to have sold the rights, so I am not sure it is sold under the Optima name, but you can find one at most Auto stores or battery places. It is over $100, but worth it to me. They may have to order you a six volter, if that's what you need.
Aside from that, check your ground strap and terminals for clean, good contact. Poor starting is often due to a bad ground.
Good luck,
Tom
