I am getting ready to paint the cab of my B-3 PW and would like to know if the engine side of the firewall was always painted the same color as the cab exterior. Comments would really be appreciated.
BTW, someone told me about an excellent tool to remove old paint and surface rust. NAPA sells a pad that can be chucked into a drill that takes either sandpaper disks or scuff pads. These are available in 2” diameter or 3”. The 3” pad is NAPA 2838 and the sandpaper or scuff pads are 2552 and 2544. These things really work well. 3M also makes a tool somewhat similar. They are 3M 7460 and 3M 7591. I had never used these things before and amazed how well they work.
