This is from memory so I may forget something. You need to roll the window completely up. With the access panel off, unscrew the the INNER door latch mechanism. Meaning the part the INNER door handle attaches to. Unscrew the 4 screws in the latch assembly and push the long rod/bar straight up. This will allow you to twist the latch assembly 90 degrees to get it out. Kinda tricky but it does work. Make sure the door lock is out also if yours is eqipped with that. It's held in by a small set screw accesible from the doors edge. If you need one I have a NOS door latch assembly for $75.00 + shipping. If you need more instructions just ask. I'm sure if I forgot something someone will post. Kevin
