I'm no expert but it would probably be the same tranny, unless they have 2 versions. The transmission in my 96 B3500 has 98000 and never had a problem, I changed the fluid and had the bands adjusted every 30,000 miles. This van is overloaded most of the time at about 9000 lbs instead of its rated 8500, and I have a very large right foot. ps I have a 360 in it also.
