If I recall Charlie A. up in Alaska said they were pretty scarce( jump in here Charlie have not heard from you in a long while) . The NV4500 Chevy 2 wheel drive is a shorter tranny than either 4 wheel drive version and that might be an option since they should be plentyful. Another option is to get a Warn Overdrive unit from the guys on the west coast and hvve Patrick make a kit to convert it to Dodge "before" transmission (nonsyncro) the NP420 (semi syncro) and the NP435 Just thinkink out loud. Any comments??/
