Among other improvements; 3-point cab mount, new hood, door repairs and misc. sheet metal repairs, fuel pump heat shield, rejuvinated seat. The cab mounts have eliminated all sheet metal noise...now I know what the truck really sounds like! I can even listen to the radio now...
As for the hood hinge ends... I received 4 stainless 5/16-24 x 1/2" flathead allen drive screws from Frontier Bolt in Denver. The head diameter was slightly over-sized for the application. I easily ground them down and made them more of an oval head and they work great! The allen drive is much better than the slot type and they fit quite well. Thanks to all who offered advise on this topic!
