Jonas, I too read that same book about James Rowe. Just to let you know as a follow up ,in 1989 he was working at the Joint U.S. Military Advisory Group headquarters in Manila, Philippines and was shot to death by ahooded gunman as he drove to work in April of 1989. After all he endured as a prisoner and survived to make it home for Vietnam, his life was taken by a coward covering his face. I'll have to dig my copy off the shelf and re-read his story of survival again. Sparky
