It appears that the shaft seal of the M-37 will indeed interchange with the one used on the civilian Power-Wagon. The 1946-1953 P-W Parts List (D-14468) lists the shaft seal number as 1193 752. The military parts book lists the Ordnance part number as 7374812 and three mfr's part numbers, Chicago Rawhide # 13909A, Detroit Harvester # 3031-Y, and Crysler Corporation 1193 752.
