Unusual flathead bearing problem.....

I'm rebuilding what has turned out to be a very unusual Mopar 230 flathead six. It was removed from a military aircraft tugger and had a 727 automatic mounted behind it. I assumed incorrectly that a flatheads a flathead, all the same. My machinist called yesterday and told me there was something wrong with the journals......they are too big! I called Vintage Power wagons and Steve told me this was a MilSpec engine, possibly one of very, very few. Apparently they were produced with an oversized main and rod bearing journal. Why is a little unclear, but the problem is still the same. Unless I can locate a supplier of MilSpec nos brgs my engine rebuild is junk. Normal automotive bearing inserts are too small to fit the large journals in this engine. I need .010 mains and rod bearings. I am hoping that there may be an industrial bearing part number that will fit my engine. The ID plate reads as follows: Chrysler model 931, type 1362-1, serial E023990, date mfd 5-18-69, MilSpec #Mil-S-10379. The crank number is 3A477, journal measures 2.691. Rod numbers are N1554530, journal measures 2.180. Any help locating parts is greatly appreciated. Of course this wasn't discovered before the crank was turned and the block bored...............damn!
