According to my notes, the "Deluxe Cab" option consisted of vent wings in the doors, domelight, armrest on the left door, dual sun visors, and dual electric windshield wipers, at least for years 1948-9. This was an extra cost option, for a whopping $40.

The "Deluxe Cab" feature, which included dual vacuum windshiel wipers, interior sun visor on the left, and vent wing doors was standard in 1958 and years following.

All this is according to the book DODGE PICKUPS: History and Restoration Guide, written by Don Bunn and Tom Brownell.

However, in the STANDARD CATALOG of 4x4s, the "Deluxe Cab Equiptment" feature is listed as an option until 1965. Perhaps this was more creature comforts not already provided for by the "standard(?) deluxe option" provided in 1958.
