The main areas to be concerned with are the weight capacity of the tow dolly and the rated tow capacity of the tow vehicle. Most of the tow dollies were designed to carry vehicles with a GVW of around 3200 lbs - about 1/2 the weight of a M37. I've had the unpleasant experience of having a tire blow out on a rented tow dolly that was carrying a Toyota pick-up. The first clue I had was the large puff of smoke as the damaged tire tore off the fender of the tow dolly. The tire then grabbed the wires leading back to the magnetic tail lights dragging them across the full length of my pick-up.
