There is only one lock on the pasengers side for safety reasons. The thinking was, you pull over to the curb, lock the drivers door from inside, slide across the seat,exit pasengers side, and lock truck while standing on sidewalk so as not to get run over by passing cars in the street! This was told to me by a man who was a car dealer in the late 40's till 1966.
