My son is just starting to work on a '52 M37 Weapons Carrier. It's had a
hard life but may still have some good years. The main gearshift lever
appears to have sheared off some type of connection. It now rotates
freely in an arc, on one plane but will not pull out or into any gear.
Is there a shearpin that has broken, if so how is it repaired--or is
this something more serious down in the transmission?
