Thank for the comments. I should have mentioned
that the boat trailer has hydraulic surge brakes
and the tandem has electric brakes. Power sounds
like the bigger issue. While I live a flat, rural
area of eastern Virginia where traffic is not a
problem I would like to get up to a decent pace
eventually. I drove a '52 Ford for 2 years as my
only vehicle so I know my threshold of tolerance
for slow.
