67 or 68?

I was wondering if someone could settle a bet I have with myself? I bought what I thought was a 68 W 200 with the PTO winch. According to the title its a 68.
But the chilton manual shows the heater controls to be a 67. You see in 68 the heater controls changed from pull knobs to a slider control. Also I have a
Stromberg ww carb, which was only on the 67 and not the 68 model. Any ideas? On another note; I learned the hard way that if a vehicle sits for a few years
with empty gas tanks (of which this truck has three), don't assume that you will be able to run gas dryer through and get away with not having to remove the tanks.
I have gone through about a half a dozen filters befor the truck won. Looks like black swamp water when I dump whats in the filter into my hand.
This after filling two of the tanks. Anyone looking for some used but slightly contaminated fuel??
