flat-towing M-37

I have a 53 M-37 with new ND tires and the correct military tow bar (mounts to lift shackle location). Tow vehicle is 96 diesel Ram 4wd w/5spd. If I disconnect driveshafts, do you think this combination can be towed for long distances at freeway speeds? Think it might overload the brakes on the towing vehicle?
