As anyone with a pre-1972 Dodge truck is surely aware, there isn't very much out there in the way of "after-market" stuff for our trucks. Things like sway bars, axle truss/skid plates,
frame buttresses, etc. I've checked out all the big distributors and manufacturers, and their stuff is either Year/Model specific, or doesn't have application before 1972. Of course, all that
probably means is that they never bothered to check their own engineering designs to see if they could be applied to earlier models. Does anyone out there have a line on "smaller"
manufacturers that have "generic" or "adjustable" units, or adapter kits for applying newer equipment to older trucks? I mean, how different can a DANA 60/44 axle be, from one truck to
another? Sure, the lengths are different, as are spring perch and shackle points, but it seems to me that someone out there in "off-road" land must be making these things.

v/r Mark
