Sound advice from everybody. My dad and I have hauled 11 Power Wagons on a 7000lb trailer pulled by a '93 W200 Cummins. Works well but the trailer is probably the weak link. We use the hitch with sway bars that allow for increased tongue weight and LT230-15 tires. His Carryall and a PW with boom and utility bed with extra winch probably weighed the most. We've hauled from NY, Virginia etc to KY with good luck so far. New planking and proper air pressure are a good idea. Supporting the rear of the trailer when loading and unloading as suggested earlier is essential. What you have to watch is everybody else on the road. Make sure you can stop, meaning have a big enough tow vehicle. Also a good idea to take every extra part you can think of just in case (jack, tires, tools, oil, etc. Be carefull and have fun.
